Tucker Beeninga, owner and lead designer at Next to Nature Landscape Design, believes a designer can only reach his or her full potential through a comprehensive understanding of how plants and materials function together in the environment. To that end, he has worked tirelessly to develop his skill-set and has educated himself to the fullest.

Tucker has worked in landscape management and design since earning his Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture from NC State University's College of Design in 2011.
As a Certified Plant Professional, he is experienced in plant selection native to the Piedmont, NC area and is certified by the State of North Carolina for Energy Saving landscapes.
His expertise lies in both residential and commercial/institutional landscape design with projects ranging in size from small, courtyard patios to large estates and municipal parks.
